Driven by passion

Nicholas Mwangi, the founder of Bahati Coffee (U.S.A), and his family has been engaged in the coffee farms since time in memorial. The family-owned farms are located in the rich volcanic soils of Kenya, where the coffee is grown under the African sun.

We believe that the unique combination of our coffee's origin, processing method, and the love we put into every step of the process is what makes our coffee truly special. We strive to provide the best quality coffee beans while maintaining the highest level of sustainability. Each tree is planted and harvested by hand and dried in the Kenyan sun. Once you experience the balanced floral notes of our Medium Roast and the bold energy of our Dark Roast, you will know why so many experts consider Kenyan coffee the world’s best.

Each bag you buy guarantees a couple of things: a great cup of premium coffee, and the chance for farmers to change the future for themselves and their region. Through hard work and innovation, the Bahati Coffee is reviving the economy and restoring the respect and dignity of the farmers.

Bahati Coffee actively recruits women, families, and differently abled people to provide opportunities for economic empowerment. We commit to training, teaching, and providing more ways for farmers in the region to become economically self-sustaining.

The farming practices employed by Bahati Co-Op farmers are sustainable and have a positive impact on the land. We commit to ongoing research and innovation to increase supply while decreasing our carbon footprint. Our proceeds also support Baraka Children's Home in Kenya

Curated Cultivation

Bahati Specialty Coffee is grown by family farmers native to the Great Rift Valley and Highlands in Kenya. Each tree is planted and harvested by hand, then dried under the Kenyan sun. Once you experience the balanced floral notes of our Medium Roast and the bold energy of our Dark Roast, you will know why so many experts consider Kenyan coffee the world’s bests.

Our high quality grade AA Kenyan coffee is grown on the rich volcanic soils found on the slopes of snow capped mount Kenya. The cool and refreshing highland air and evenly distributed rainfall balances out the year-round equatorial sunlight allowing the berries to develop a vibrantly rich aroma giving you a full cup best coffee flavor in the world.

Balance with Nature

Imagine, the distant rumble of an old elephant bull, the roar of a lion getting ready for the hunt, the call of zebras out on the plains of the Savannah, up in the evening sky, homeward bound birds elegantly line up as they fly towards the golden sunset. The sun-kissed range yonder the western sky brings out an assurance of a goodnight cup of Bahati Coffee. From harvesting to roasting, our Kenyan coffee is carefully and systematically curated to produce a quality cup.

The unique flavor of (brand) coffee is imbued into the berries by the rich volcanic soils found on the slopes of the East African rift valley where coffee beans have a naturally fruity, acidic flavor profile and produce a fragrant, full-bodied brew. The high altitude, volcanic soil, and moderate temperatures are all conducive to bean cultivation, which allows for the production of the best coffee flavor in the world.
